Who Are the Harmonizers?
We are an award-winning a cappella group, welcoming singers of all experience levels (including none) and performing all around Washtenaw County. We are a group open to EVERYONE who loves to sing, regardless of gender, age, hair color, or shoe size. Whether you've sung in other groups or just like to sing in your car, you have a place with the Harmonizers!
We love singing for AND WITH others!
Singing brings joy to the singer and the audience. You'll find us strolling Ann Arbor's Main Street this year and at various farmer's markets, car shows, and fairs all over Washtenaw County. Nothing beats the smiles and happiness these performances bring—for us and our surprised listeners.
Experience Not Required
Our singers have a wide range of singing experience. And although some have been singing for years, even more had little to no singing experience until joining us.
We're always focused on improving. In 2018, The Harmonizers participated in a contest of 15 barbershop choruses from around Michigan and lower Ontario and came home with the Pioneer District Chorus Championship.
Sing With Us!
Singing with the Harmonizers will give you many opportunities to bring joy to others. Whether it's delivering Singing Valentines or performing for audiences all around town, singing with the Huron Valley Harmonizers gives you a chance to create smiles every week!
Join us at our Tuesday rehearsals. There are no auditions, and you can drop by to visit and sing anytime. After a few visits, you can consider becoming a member if you find that you're hooked.
